CAROLYN ELLIS is the Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner at FERRUZZO and a Senior Paralegal. Carolyn has been with the Firm since 1991, and has been a paralegal since 1998.
As a paralegal, Carolyn has assisted the firm’s lead trial attorneys in preparing their cases for trial for both court and jury trials, and has attended and assisted at trial in both complex state and federal civil court, binding arbitration, mediation and other governmental tribunal agencies. Pre-trial, she has assisted with overall case management, including conducting client interviews, maintaining client contact throughout the litigation process, locating and interviewing witnesses, performing investigative research, gathering and preparing evidence, and drafting related legal documents. Carolyn has also prepared and written the Firm’s Policies, Procedures, Practices and Forms manual for the Litigation Department.
Carolyn was born in Santa Ana, California, and grew up in the Orange County area, and currently resides in Corona with her husband and two children. She attended Fullerton College, as well as the Rancho Santiago College ABA Certified Paralegal Program.
