James F. Rumm

JAMES F. RUMM is a Senior Associate at FERRUZZO.  He was born in North Hollywood, California, and admitted to the California bar in 2003. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1998, and his juris doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2002.

After graduating from law school, James has litigated matters in many different arenas, including California State and Federal Courts, Bankruptcy Courts, FINRA Arbitrations, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the California Courts of Appeal, and the California Supreme Court. James’ practice focuses on employment litigation, wage and hour class action defense, commercial litigation, appellate work, representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, class action litigation, and trial work. James has trial experience in a wide range of areas including, business litigation matters, employment litigation, personal injury and product liability matters. James has also argued on several occasions before both the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

James resides in Orange County with his wife, Carolina. They have three children. James enjoys marathon distance running, golf, cooking and reading.
