JENNIFER L. DANIEL is an Associate in the Civil Litigation Practice Group at Ferruzzo. Jennifer grew up in Oregon. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University in 2008. She graduated cum laude from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon in 2012, earning her Juris Doctorate degree with an additional certification in International and Comparative Law. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2013, the Oregon State Bar in 2013, and the State Bar of Texas in 2014.
Jennifer began her legal career practicing Estate Planning in Texas, until she took a position as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas in 2014. In that capacity, Jennifer defended law enforcement officials from civil rights actions in federal and state court. She was first chair in four federal jury trials, successfully defending correctional officers from allegations of excessive force and deliberate indifference. She also represented the University of Texas Medical Branch and several of its employees in a large-scale litigation matter involving deaths in Texas prisons. In 2017, Jennifer accepted a position as a Deputy District Attorney for Placer County, in northern California. She prosecuted misdemeanor cases there, until relocating to Orange County and joining Ferruzzo.
Jennifer is passionate about helping people and working closely with clients. She resides in Huntington Beach and enjoys traveling, the beach, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
