JOHN P. HANNON III is an Associate with Ferruzzo. He joined Ferruzzo with experience preparing trust agreements, including revocable living trusts, irrevocable gift trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, and substance abuse provisions. He will provide services directly to our clients and assist the senior attorneys with the administration of trusts, including obtaining appraisals with discounting if applicable, establishing GST exempt and non-exempt trusts, funding sub-trusts, and drafting trust allocation agreements and trust termination agreements. John has also advised clients on real property issues, including analyzing chains of title, clearing clouds on title, preparing deeds, assessor forms, deeds of trust, and promissory notes as well as assisting with preparation of Form 706 Federal Estate Tax Returns and Form 709 Federal Gift Tax Returns. John is experienced in the sale of business interests, including negotiating deal terms, drafting purchase agreements, collaborating with CPAs to maximize tax efficiency and create LLCs for real estate and business interests for management, discounting and estate tax purposes. John also has experience with probate and trust litigation issues. He has prepared ex parte applications, memoranda of points and authorities and petitions, assisted trust litigators with actions against trustees and estates as well as Heggstad petitions, petitions for modifications to trusts, probate proceedings and notices to creditors.
