ORLANDO R. FLORES As Senior Associate within Ferruzzo & Ferruzzo’s contested Trust and Estates litigation department, Orlando assists our clients in their just pursuit of their loved one’s manifest intentions.
Orlando handles a variety of litigation matters within the area of Trusts, Wills, and Conservatorships, including Contests, objections to accountings, Trustee removal, and generally communicates and advocates on behalf of his clients to ensure their matter is pursued comprehensively and competently
Orlando commenced his 17-year legal career as a Placer County Public Defender in Auburn, California, and eventually moved into private practice, where he managed some of the more prominent DUI Defense firms in Southern California. Upon his stepfather’s passing in 2012, however, his interest turned to Trusts and Estates as he saw firsthand how difficult it can be to grieve the loss of a loved one while trying to pick up the pieces left behind. It was watching his mother struggle to administer her childhood sweetheart’s affairs in the absence of an estate plan that inspired Orlando to pursue the use of his prior legal experience assisting those facing challenging circumstances to represent those dealing with the emotionally challenging and time-consuming Probate process. He brings the same emotionally conscious approach to resolving every client’s matter with which he’s entrusted.
Born in Orange County, raised in Sacramento, and educated in the Bay Area, New York City, and Rome, Orlando blends his diverse background with his passion for people, resulting in a client-centric approach to assuaging all of his clients’ concerns. He is adept at handling both the client’s legal matters, as well as attending to the emotional toll.
In Orlando’s free time, he acts in tv shows, movies, and commercial, writes poetry, travels, plays basketball and collects Pokemon cards with his son, and always roots roots roots for the Yankees.
