Ms. Ellis' management responsibilities include:
- executive assistant to Managing Partner
- developing skills and training utilizing all the Firm's software, WestLaw, the internet, and calendaring programs
- assits the Firm's accounting department with recovery of costs and payment of outside resources
- arranging and implementing engagement of experts, consultants, and outside services
Ms. Ellis' responsibilities as a litigation paralegal include:
- supervise and implement all calendars for the firm
- assists with case management
- conducting client interviews and maintaining general contact with the client throughout the litigation process
- locating and interviewing witnesses
- investigation and statistical documentary research
- legal research and analysis and retrieving federal and state case law and statutes
- drafting of legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence
- summarizing despositions, testimony, and documents
- and on-site document reviews
Ms. Ellis has assisted the Firm's lead trial attorney in court and jury trials in both complex state and federal civil litigation since 1991.
Ms. Ellis resides in Corona with her husband, Mark, and two children.
