DAVID N. SHAVER, a partner of Ferruzzo & Ferruzzo, LLP, was born May 30, 1956. He attended Cerritos Junior College, played two years of football, and received an Associate of Arts Degree in Administrative Justice. He transferred to California State University at Long Beach and received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1978 and received his Masters in Public Administration in 1980. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Western State University in 1983, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1984.
Mr. Shaver has been lead trial attorney in over 30 jury trials, and tried disputes to successful conclusion in complex state and federal civil litigation involving Government tort liability product liability, medical malpractice, employer unlawful termination (defense), sexual harassment (defense), premises liability, automobile liability, construction litigation and estate probate and trust litigation.
Mr. Shaver volunteered has served as a Fee Dispute Arbitrator for the Orange County Bar Association since 1999. He has served as a Court Arbitrator for the Orange County Superior Court since 1999. He has also handled Pro Bono cases from the Public Law Center since 1996.
David Shaver resides in Orange County with his wife, Heidi. They have two children, Bret, age 16, and Lauren, age 14.
