Vasko R. Mitzev is an associate attorney at Ferruzzo & Ferruzzo, LLP. Vasko graduated from John Marshall High School in Los Angeles and received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Chicago in 1993. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Ohio State University in 1999 and was admitted to the California State Bar in June 2001, District of Columbia Court of Appeals in 2004.

During law school, Vasko served with a legal and insurance team in the property management arm of Nationwide Insurance, and negotiated and arbitrated commercial real estate contracts and leases. After graduating from law school, he marketed and organized a pre-IPO division of Owens-Corning, and directed teams there in a large-scale class action litigation administration. Vasko's practice focuses on commercial litigation, product liability defense, public entity representation and trial work. Vasko has first and second chair trial experience in defending catastrophic personal injury and product liability matters.

Vasko was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in 1972 and immigrated to California in 1979, after his parents fled the Communist regime in 1977. Vasko resides with his wife Jill and two children, in San Clemente, California. When not accompanying his children to soccer, piano, percussion or art classes, Vasko enjoys beach respites and backyard bar-b-ques with friends. He'll also find time to tinker in his two hobbies, B&W Leica photography and four wheeling in old Land Rovers.
