Skylar V. Palasik is an Associate in the Probate and Trust Administration Litigation Group at Ferruzzo. He graduated cum laude from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He received his Juris Doctor degree, emphasis in taxation, from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law in 2018, and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2018. Before Skylar joined Ferruzzo & Ferruzzo, he worked as a tax research specialist for H & R Block, a legal intern/law clerk and then an Associate Attorney for local Orange County firms beginning in May, 2016, servicing clients in trust administration/litigation, reviewing and interpreting trust terms; drafting and appearing for petitions/oppositions; attending mediation and drafting settlement agreements, consents and releases, notices of proposed action, accountings and letters and notices to beneficiaries.
Skylar built a strong background for over three years before joining this Firm while in law school and afterwards, preparing him to provide legal services in both contested and uncontested estate administration and its associated tax issues. He has experience representing clients in a wide variety of trust and probate matters, including transactional estate planning. His current focus is in the area of Trust and Probate Litigation. Skylar also has experience in transactional business issues involving contracts, business formation, and succession which is a real plus working with our Firm’s high net worth estate clients.
Skylar resides in Orange, and enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, photography, surfing, and motorcycling.
