Skylar V. Palasik is a Senior Associate in the Probate and Trust Administration and Litigation Group at Ferruzzo. He graduated cum laude from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and received his Juris Doctor degree, emphasis in taxation, from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law.

Skylar represents clients in a wide variety of trust and probate matters, including transactional estate planning and related business matters.  Skylar primarily focuses in the area of Trust and Probate Litigation, but also handles uncontested probate, conservatorship, and guardianship matters.  Skylar represents fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and interested persons in administrations involving claims such as breach of fiduciary duty, trustee removal, accountings, estate distribution, will and trust contests, irrevocable trust modification, breach of contract to make a will claims, omitted heir claims, undue influence, and elder abuse.  Skylar also assists clients in related transactional business matters that arise, such as formation, succession planning, clean up of corporate records, and tax issues.

Skylar understands the unique and, often times, painful situations his clients are placed in when a loved one passes and disputes arise amongst family members.  Skylar zealously advocates for his clients and deeply values the opportunity to assist his clients in navigating the difficulties of litigation and the loss of a loved one.
