Thomas G. Ferruzzo

THOMAS G. FERRUZZO is the founding partner of Ferruzzo & Ferruzzo, LLP and effective April 1, 2019 ls Of Counsel.  Tom remains active with the firm at it's offices at Newport Beach. He graduated from Loyola University of Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics engineering. He received his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude in 1972 from Western State University. Tom resides in Orange County with his wife, Diane. They have eleven grandchildren who keep them young. Tom was an avid windsurfer, water skier and scuba diver and now is an avid golfer.

From 1963 through 1972, Tom worked as an Electronics Engineer, with a three year stint on the launch team at Cape Kennedy, Florida, for the third stage of Saturn V. Admitted to the California Bar in 1972, Tom worked as an Associate Deputy Counsel for McDonnell Douglas Corporation until he left for private practice, forming the firm of Ferruzzo & Ferruzzo, LLP.

Tom has been the lead acquisition attorney in mergers and acquisitions, exceeding a billion dollars in value. He was the lead acquisition attorney for Holland Chemical International, n.v., since 1984, successfully assisting them in over 31 acquisitions throughout United States, Canada and Mexico, which increased the company's gross sales in North America from under 20 million dollars to over 650 million dollars before going public.

Tom has considerable experience in business organizations, including assisting entrepreneurs with the decisions in the structure of start-up companies, executive compensation planning, reorganization of companies, and resolving disputes between shareholders, partners and members of limited liability companies. In addition, over the years Tom has prepared private offerings (Reg D) for investment opportunities in windmill farms, real estate limited partnerships, manufacturing facilities and veterinary laboratories.

Tom represents the Orange County International Auto Show, Orange County Automobile Dealership Association, along with many of the other Auto Dealership Associations in Orange County, California, and major automobile dealerships, assisting in the acquisition of land for the Tustin Auto Mall and the Foothill Ranch Auto Mall, including all phases of the construction, operation, licensing and the buying and selling of the auto dealerships and the dealerships' facilities. The firm has been representing auto dealerships in Orange County and surrounding areas from 1983 through the present.
